Your journey begins with the iconic Kilimanjaro climb through scenic forests, unique landscapes, and culminating in the summit at Uhuru Peak, Africa’s highest point. After successfully completing your trek, you’ll immerse yourself in the wonders of Tanzania’s wildlife, exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara while enjoying luxury camping and exhilarating game drives.

 

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha Your Tanzania safari begins as you arrive at Arusha, Tanzania’s safari hub. Our friendly guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Arusha Safari Lodge. Enjoy a delicious dinner and relax overnight, preparing for your thrilling trek and safari.

Day 2: Machame Gate – Machame Camp Begin your Mount Kilimanjaro trekking adventure with a scenic drive to Machame Gate. After completing registration, your trek through the lush rainforest begins. Over 5-7 hours, experience stunning landscapes as you ascend to Machame Camp (3,100 meters). Enjoy a hearty dinner under the African stars.

Day 3: Machame Camp – Shira Camp Depart Machame Camp after breakfast and trek through the rainforest, ascending through a rocky ridge adorned with heather. After 5-7 hours, reach Shira Camp at 3,800 meters, where you'll enjoy dinner and rest surrounded by Tanzania's wild beauty.

Day 4: Shira Camp – Barranco Camp Trek to Lava Tower, often referred to as the "Shark’s Tooth", and capture incredible photos of the landscape. Afterward, head toward Barranco Camp (3,950 meters). Relax with a hearty meal and prepare for the next stage of your Kilimanjaro summit attempt.

Day 5: Barranco Camp – Karanga Valley Camp Descend into the Barranco Gorge and ascend the eastern wall, marveling at Kilimanjaro's ice fields. After 4-5 hours of hiking, reach Karanga Valley Camp (4,200 meters). Enjoy a delicious dinner at this scenic campsite and rest for the challenging day ahead.

Day 6: Karanga Valley Camp – Barafu Camp Trek through the Karanga Valley to Barafu Camp (4,600 meters), your base camp for the summit attempt. As you prepare for your ambitious journey, enjoy dinner and rest as you prepare for the summit climb.

Day 7: Barafu Camp – Uhuru Peak Just after midnight, begin your summit trek to Stella Point (5,745 meters) and then continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 5,895 meters. After reaching the summit, descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest and celebratory dinner.

Day 8: Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate After breakfast, descend for 3-4 hours to Mweka Gate, where you will receive your summit certificate. Transfer back to Planet Lodge for lunch, dinner, and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 9: Arusha National Park Set out for an exciting game drive in Arusha National Park, renowned for its diverse wildlife, including giraffes, flamingos, and antelopes. After a picnic lunch, enjoy a 2-hour canoe ride at Momela Lakes before returning to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 10: Mto wa Mbu Village Experience the rich culture of Tanzania in the vibrant Mto wa Mbu village. Take a guided walking tour to visit a banana beer bar, a nursery school, and active farms. After lunch, bike through the village and observe wildlife at Lake Manyara. In the evening, embark on a night game drive before returning to Twiga Lodge.

Day 11: Lake Manyara National Park Venture out for a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and stunning birdlife, including flamingos. After lunch, visit a traditional Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience before heading back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Serengeti National Park After breakfast, journey to the legendary Serengeti National Park for a thrilling game drive. After a day of exploration, enjoy a cozy stay at Serengeti Bush Camp, surrounded by the wild landscapes of the Serengeti.

Day 13: Serengeti National Park Embark on morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti, capturing sightings of predators, including cheetahs and lions. Enjoy your meals and overnight accommodation at Serengeti Bush Camp, with views of the expansive wilderness.

Travel Insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance (including trip cancellation, medical coverage, and emergency evacuation) is required but not included in the package.

Visas: Visa fees for Tanzania are not included; travelers are responsible for obtaining their visas in advance (or upon arrival) based on nationality.

Optional Activities: Optional excursions such as hot air balloon rides in the Serengeti, cultural activities not specified in the itinerary, or other personalized adventures are at extra cost.

Single Supplement: If you prefer a single room or tent for accommodation during the trek or safari, there may be an additional charge for the single supplement.

Personal Trekking Gear: Although we provide mountain climbing equipment, you may need to bring personal items such as trekking boots, warm clothes, trekking poles, sleeping bag, or headlamps.

Emergency Evacuation: Emergency evacuation from the mountain or safari locations is not covered and is an additional cost. It is highly recommended to have adequate travel insurance for emergencies.
